ICOM IC-P3A power supply up and running
You will notice that both the Power and the Normal lights are lighted. The Warning! and Current lights are extinguished. All is well in Linear/Hitachi land. This power supply will output a whopping, wait for it…., 3 Amps at 13.5 VDC! It is more protected than most 20 or 25 amp Samlex or Astron power supplies and is built for World War III. This thang was manufactured when most 2 meter FM rigs only outputted 10 watts. The 28 volt 327 lamps I installed should last for about 20,000 hours with 12 VDC on them.
